Description
The Packaging Engineer will design shipping containers and packaging to maximize CBM utilization, benchmark packaging practices across North American, European, and International Markets Group plants, use simulation and CAD tools to identify optimal packaging, develop sustainable packaging solutions, coordinate with suppliers and purchasing teams, prepare launch reports, and improve TVM targets through pack density, freight, material, and part-cost improvements. The role requires an engineering or technical degree, 3–5 years of packaging development and implementation experience, knowledge of packaging software and tools, and the ability to travel internationally on an ad hoc basis.
