Redwire Defense Tech is hiring a Packaging Engineer in San Luis Obispo, California to develop, test, and optimize protective packaging for UAV components, payloads, avionics, optics, propulsion systems, and other mission-critical aerospace hardware. The role combines packaging engineering with industrial design and presentation, including CAD-based design, packaging graphics, renderings, mockups, documentation, validation testing, supplier collaboration, and compliance with defense packaging and export regulations. A bachelor’s degree and 3–6 years of packaging design experience are required.
