Description
The Packaging Design Engineer I develops custom packaging designs and specifications, including 3D models, 2D drawings, performance calculations, bills of materials, and technical documentation. The role supports customer and industry standards, sustainability and cost objectives, packaging material selection, manufacturing validation, testing, and design reviews, while collaborating with internal teams and external customers. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field, 2–3 years of mechanical or structural design experience, CAD proficiency, GD&T knowledge, and familiarity with packaging testing and standards.
