Ford is hiring a Design & Planning Engineer to support Model-E, Ford Blue, and Ford Pro vehicle operations new-model programs. The role focuses on packaging design, 3D CAD and PLM modeling, capital spending forecasts, material-flow and freight-efficiency studies, cross-functional coordination, and presentation of cost drivers to upper management. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Packaging, or Supply Chain, strong communication and leadership skills, and experience working collaboratively across organizational levels; prior manufacturing cost-study and 3D CAD/PLM experience is preferred. The position offers a grade 6–8 salary range of $72,480–$162,120, medical, dental, and prescription drug coverage, and is marked hybrid; visa sponsorship is not available.
