Description
Ford is hiring a Design & Planning Engineer to support Model-E, Ford Blue, and Ford Pro vehicle operations new model programs. The role focuses on packaging design, 3D CAD and PLM modeling, capital spending forecasting, material-flow optimization, container-concept development, and cross-functional coordination with manufacturing, logistics, product development, and other teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Packaging, or Supply Chain, strong communication and leadership skills, and experience working collaboratively across organizational levels; prior program-milestone manufacturing cost-study and 3D CAD/PLM experience is preferred. The position offers a grade 6–8 salary range of $72,480–$162,120, medical, dental, and prescription drug coverage, and is marked hybrid; visa sponsorship is not available.
