Description
The Packaging Engineer designs cost-effective, expendable, and returnable packaging; leads packaging quotes; develops protective packaging containers and specifications; coordinates with suppliers, purchasing, materials, and production; prepares AutoCAD and SolidWorks designs; and improves packaging processes, racking, and material flow. The role requires post-secondary education in a related field or three years of manufacturing packaging-design experience, with Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency preferred.
