The Packaging and Shipping Specialist determines packaging specifications for products, develops storage and shipping instructions, and provides logistical support for government-contract shipments. The role requires background in receiving and shipping inspection, knowledge of U.S. government shipping practices and hazardous-material regulations, familiarity with DoD and DTR requirements, and the ability to train and certify personnel. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education with two years of professional experience is desired, along with a Secret Security clearance and ATF employee-possessor status.
