Schweig GmbH is hiring a Packaging Engineer/Technician/Technologist to develop, assess, and optimize sustainable packaging solutions for clients in packaging, logistics, retail, health and safety, and other sectors. The role involves analyzing technical documentation and life-cycle assessments, supporting sustainability and PPWR implementation, preparing laboratory analyses, creating presentations, and managing supplier relationships. Candidates need a relevant degree or comparable packaging materials qualification, packaging development or production experience, MS Office proficiency, German and English skills, and an independent working style. The position is based in Tangstedt near Pinneberg in the Hamburg metropolitan area, offers flexible hours, and is initially a fixed-term contract for 1–2 years with an extension option.
