Description
The Maintenance Mechanic provides maintenance support for a manufacturing facility by inspecting and performing preventive maintenance on production and related equipment, using hand and power tools. The role also supports equipment installation and improvement, documents work in accordance with cGMP and standard operating procedures, troubleshoots equipment failures, and communicates issues to coworkers and management. It requires basic math and computer skills, knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and packaging equipment, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work safely around equipment, lift 35–50 pounds, and stand for long periods. The position works the D shift from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and offers full-time benefits, including a 401(k) company match.
