Description

The Packaging Operator operates equipment to fill bulk adhesives and sealants into cartridges or other packaging vehicles, performs palletization, and supports transfer to the Distribution Center. The role includes filling-process orders, bar-code and date-code labeling, in-line pigmenting, equipment operation and minor troubleshooting, operator maintenance, paperwork, safety compliance, and continuous-improvement activities. Grade I, II, and Senior levels are defined, with the Senior level limited and based on need. Requirements include relevant manufacturing training, safety and operations training, certification where applicable, basic math, process-order documentation knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; Grade II requires competency with at least two filling-machine types or qualification for complex packaging lines.
