Description
The Packaging Operator I packs a variety of products according to customer specifications, reviews work orders, inspects products and packaged goods, weighs and counts items, loads and monitors packaging machines, places products in boxes, applies labels, and completes departmental paperwork. The role is scheduled for the second shift Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, with overtime possible during the week and on weekends, and pays $15.25 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with basic reading, writing, math, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to follow instructions. The work involves fast-paced bagging, exposure to loud noise, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
