Description
Apple is seeking a Packaging Design Engineer to design and execute structural packaging architecture from initial prototypes through mass production. The role uses 2D and 3D CAD, materials analysis, stress and failure analysis, prototyping, and collaboration with industrial design, hardware, environmental, operations, and technology teams. The engineer will also partner with manufacturing and external vendors to optimize packaging for function, cosmetics, and manufacturability, while traveling up to 20% for engineering build activities.
