WEPA is recruiting an apprentice Packaging Technologist (m/f/d) to manufacture and design packaging materials including cardboard packaging, films, and labels. The apprenticeship combines hands-on company training with block phases at the paper makers’ school in Altenburg and inter-company training at the Education Academy in Leuna, including rotations through paper processing, mechanics, laboratory work, and production operations. Candidates should have enthusiasm for technical processes, design interest, creativity, teamwork, care and precision, and a Hauptschulabschluss or higher. The program offers collective-agreement pay, development through the WEPA Academy, health weeks, and potential employment with WEPA after successful completion.
