Description
The Paediatric Emergency Nurse role is a full-time or part-time position in the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network’s Emergency Department at Bedford Park. The nurse assesses and plans patient care, provides direct person-centred nursing or midwifery care, coordinates multidisciplinary services, responds to clinical deterioration, and contributes to quality improvement. Applicants need at least one year of clinical experience in a paediatric emergency department or acute paediatric area, along with emergency nursing competence, communication, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, negotiation, teamwork, and workload-prioritisation skills.
