Description
The Paediatrician will provide expert medical management for children undergoing tertiary orthopaedic and plastic/burn reconstructions, including pre- and post-operative care, ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and management of high-risk, syndromic, and acutely unwell patients. The role partners with surgical and anaesthesia teams, leads multidisciplinary medical-surgical programs, contributes to clinical governance and quality improvement, and mentors junior medical staff, clinical fellows, and nursing personnel. Required qualifications include a medical degree, successful completion of a paediatric residency and fellowship, specialist certification, an unrestricted paediatric medical licence, two years of hospital experience, and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification.
