Description
The Paint Prep Technician prepares machined and fabricated components for paint, powder coat, or other customer-required finishes. The role uses hand tools such as sanders, grinders, and Scotch-Brite wheels to grind, polish, deburr, clean, inspect, protect, and sort parts according to engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures. The position also maintains paint-shop equipment, follows safety and material-handling practices, and may perform special projects. No related experience is required, though some experience is preferred; the role pays $21-$24 per hour.
