Description
The Mechanic repairs school buses, motor coaches, and other vehicles under the supervision of an immediate supervisor or Tech I. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, air and hydraulic brake repairs, warranty procedures, driveline, steering and suspension, electrical troubleshooting, air conditioning, road calls, test drives, inspections, documentation, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of automotive or truck technical repair experience or vocational training, successful Tech II screening, and a valid license or certification to operate company vehicles within 90 days.
