Description
The Paint Prep Technician prepares vehicles for automotive refinishing by washing, sanding, feather-edging, filling, masking, cleaning, and applying primers and sealers. The role also inspects repaired panels, protects vehicle components, maintains prep-area organization, assists with vehicle staging and material preparation, and follows OEM repair procedures and safety requirements. The position requires automotive surface-preparation knowledge, attention to detail, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and experience in paint or collision repair is preferred. The stated salary is $18.00–$25.00 per hour depending on experience.
