Description
The Painter performs skilled surface preparation, painting, finishing, repair, and refinishing work on interior and exterior school buildings. The role includes preparing and coating plaster, drywall, wood, metal, concrete, and other substrates; repairing surfaces; using sprayers, ladders, scaffolding, and lifts; following lead-safe and safety procedures; coordinating work with occupants and facilities staff; and maintaining clean work areas. The position is full-time, calendar-year, benefit-eligible, with a typical 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. shift, no travel, and requires three to five years of professional painting experience, EPA Certified Renovator certification within three months of hire, reliable transportation, and the ability to perform physically demanding indoor and outdoor work.
