Description
The Industrial Painter prepares and protects manufactured items by sandblasting, cleaning, removing paint, applying grease, mixing paints, and operating hand and spray-painting equipment. The role also maintains work areas and equipment, handles hazardous waste in compliance with EPA regulations, follows safety and ISO 9000 requirements, and assists in training new employees. A high school diploma or equivalent and 2–4 years of industrial painting, manufacturing, or painting/blasting experience are required.
