Description
The Painter maintains interior and exterior buildings for DHS hospital properties under a Construction Supervisor, performing scheduled and unscheduled work orders, preventive maintenance, repairs, and basic building trade tasks to ensure safe hospital operations. The role involves using a CMMS to document work and preventive maintenance, following safety, OSHA, and regulatory requirements, assisting skilled trades and contractors, handling painting, minor carpentry, groundskeeping, inventory, and occasional driving to offsite properties. The position requires a high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience, the ability to read blueprints and communicate well, and maintaining MECH certification and an appropriate driving record.
