Description
The Painter performs skilled preparation, patching, finishing, and maintenance of interior and exterior building surfaces, woodwork, furniture, and equipment at Marshall University. The role uses brushes, rollers, sprayers, sanding tools, and related painting equipment, applies paints and finishes, protects work areas, cleans up after projects, and follows environmental and safety regulations. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and one year of skilled painting experience; vocational training or institutional-facility experience is preferred. The position is full-time, paid $33,381–$38,389 annually, and is open until filled.
