The Rail Vehicle Painter prepares interior and exterior surfaces of rail vehicles, equipment, office furniture, and transportation signs for painting; mixes and blends paints; spray paints; applies paint stripes; performs sign work, lettering, and silk-screening; and fabricates decals. The role requires at least five years of verifiable experience as a painter, physical work involving standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders and scaffolding, and exposure to shop and outdoor conditions.
