Description
The Painter/Sandblaster will sandblast and wet-paint raw steel platforms, products, and equipment; move materials with overhead cranes or forklifts; perform general labor and cleaning; maintain equipment; and document inspections and paint usage. The role requires at least grammar school education, basic math and English skills, and a minimum of two years of wet-painting, sandblasting, and surface-preparation experience. It also requires proficiency with airless and conventional spray systems, steel-grit blasting, paint-film gauges, defect repair, equipment troubleshooting, safety and ISO procedures, and the ability to work long shifts, Saturdays, and Sundays as needed.
