AECOM is hiring an experienced On-Call Paleontologist for its U.S. West Rockies Environmental Planning and Permitting team. This remote, part-time, on-call role involves paleontological fieldwork, taxonomic identification of vertebrate and invertebrate fossils, field monitoring, writing, research, and data management, with travel throughout the Western United States. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in paleontology or a related field, at least two years of relevant experience, a valid U.S. driver's license, and U.S. citizenship; an M.S. or Ph.D. and additional paleontology experience are preferred. Relocation is not available, and the position is intended to be filled by November 30, 2026.
