Description
PLA is hiring a Machine Operator to safely operate and maintain a SMETCO 300 series pallet sorter in a manufacturing or production environment. The role involves sorting pallets by quality, manufacturer, and type; inspecting them; removing jams and debris; hand-stacking pallets; completing production paperwork; and maintaining a safe workspace. The position pays $22.00–$25.00 per hour with guaranteed hourly increases and offers medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits. Applicants should be at least 18 years old, have strong safety and manual-dexterity skills, and be able to lift up to 50–75 pounds; machine-operator experience and SMETCO experience are preferred.
