Description
PLA is hiring a Machine Operator to safely operate and maintain a SMETCO 300 series pallet sorter in a manufacturing or production environment. The role involves sorting pallets by quality, manufacturer, and type; inspecting them; removing jams and clearing debris; hand-stacking pallets; completing production paperwork; and maintaining a safe workspace. The position is scheduled for the second shift from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., Monday through Wednesday, with rotating Thursday shifts, and pays $20.00 per hour with guaranteed progression.
