Description
PLA is hiring a Machine Operator to safely operate and maintain a SMETCO 300 series pallet sorter in a manufacturing or production environment. The role involves sorting pallets by quality, manufacturer, and type; inspecting them; removing jams and debris; hand-stacking pallets; completing production paperwork; and maintaining a safe workspace. The position pays $18.00 per hour with guaranteed hourly increases, and offers medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits. Applicants should be at least 18 years old, have strong safety and manual-dexterity skills, and be able to lift up to 50–75 pounds; machine-operator experience and SMETCO experience are preferred.
