Description
Three-year paper production apprenticeship at WEPA beginning 1 August 2027. The apprentice will operate and monitor paper machines and production systems, learn stock preparation, laboratory work, and paper production, perform quality checks, and learn maintenance tasks. The role includes block instruction at the paper maker’s school in Gernsbach for 16 weeks per year, requires a Hauptschulabschluss or higher, interest in technology and science, reliability, teamwork, initiative, and willingness to work shifts. The apprenticeship provides 30 vacation days, 38 hours per week, staged monthly pay, and potential employment in paper production after completion.
