Description
Intuitive Machines is hiring a Parachute Modeling Engineer to join the NASA Development and Analysis Team at JSC. The role develops multi-body parachute system models for Orion and Commercial Crew programs, integrates them into Julia and C++ flight-mechanics simulations, supports parachute drop-test reconstruction and spacecraft touchdown analyses, performs verification and validation, and contributes to requirements and software-development process improvements. The position is open to remote work and requires an engineering degree, 4–5 years of related experience, and experience with flight-mechanics simulations, software development, parachute modeling, and spacecraft performance analysis.
