Description
The Palmdale School District is recruiting a Manual Communication Interpreter/Paraeducator to support pupils who communicate through manual communication in integrated classrooms. The role interprets educational materials and classroom communication, tutors students, assists teachers with instruction and classroom activities, supports IEP implementation, and performs related clerical and student-support duties. Applicants need RID or EIPA certification, high school or equivalent education, and two years of paid experience working with people communicating through manual communication. The position works seven hours per day on the student calendar, with medical, dental, vision, and term life insurance benefits.
