Description
The Special Education Paraprofessional provides individualized instruction and classroom support to students with special needs, assists with behavior management, IEP implementation, transportation, personal care, medical procedures, and classroom activities. The role is typically part-time, 5.75 or 6.50 hours per day, and requires a high school diploma or GED, relevant health-care experience or qualifying education, and a valid CPR and First Aid certificate. Applicants must pass a multiple-choice and oral interview examination.
