The Juvenile Legal Assistant supports County staff attorneys in Juvenile Abuse, Neglect and Dependency Court matters by maintaining juvenile case files, preparing and filing court documents, conducting legal research, coordinating with DSS social workers, and assisting with trial preparation. The role requires an associate degree and one year of paralegal experience, with an associate degree in Paralegal Technology preferred. The position is sedentary, may require driving for county business, and is evaluated by assignment results and statutory deadlines.
