BronxWorks is hiring a Public Benefits Paralegal for its Legal Services Early Intervention Team to support low-income tenants facing eviction and to help them secure housing stability and public benefits. The role provides direct client advocacy, assists with housing subsidy and public benefits applications, supports case administration and research, drafts legal documents, investigates case facts, and represents clients in administrative hearings and proceedings. The paralegal reports to the Legal Service department’s Case Management Supervisor and works under attorney supervision, with an associate degree and two years of applicable experience or a bachelor’s degree required.
