Description
The role responds to dispatched calls within a defined geographic area, performs patient assessments and prehospital care, directs primary response personnel, surveys and maintains emergency vehicles and equipment, documents patient encounters, participates in orientation and preceptorship, supports patient-safety programs, and coordinates with local Fire and Rescue personnel. The work is typically performed in a clinical environment and requires compliance with Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Laws and organizational policies.
