Description
The Paramedic responds to emergency medical services calls, operates an emergency vehicle, assesses and treats patients with urgent or emergent conditions, administers intravenous fluids, provides patient education, prepares patients for procedures, and functions as a single Advanced Life Support Provider. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of experience in a busy 911 system, and several required certifications and training courses upon hire.
