Description
The Paraprofessional assists a teacher with instructional materials, classroom displays, records, reports, student orientation, special-needs support, behavior management, curriculum activities, and supervision throughout the school day. The role requires regular and punctual attendance at a campus-based worksite, travel throughout the district, and completion of a paraprofessional certificate and specific training or equivalent experience. An accredited senior high school diploma or equivalent plus an associate degree, 48 college credit hours, or successful academic assessment is required; bilingual English/Spanish ability is preferred.
