Description
The Parent Educator provides comprehensive, home-based Early Head Start services to infants, toddlers, and their families, including weekly virtual visits, home visit planning, child and family assessment, resource referrals, crisis intervention, advocacy, and case management. The role maintains a caseload of 10–12 children and parents, supports family development and employment, documents services in the Child Plus system, and requires an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field plus at least three years of early childhood or family-support experience. The position may require working from home and pays $38,250 BOE.
