Description
The Parent Support Worker provides in-home support to families with children aged 0–6, including basic infant care, child development, parenting support, health promotion, community resource advocacy, and liaison work with health professionals. The role involves workshops, community education, awareness materials, and the nutrition coupon program, with 7.5-hour shifts and possible overtime. Applicants need an Early Childhood Education Certificate, Grade 12, required or obtainable first-aid, CPR, and safe-food-handling certification, strong communication and organizational skills, a valid Class 5 driver’s license, and preferably experience with First Nations communities.
