The Parenting Support Practitioner provides guidance, assistance, and practical support to parents or caregivers within the Empower Contextual Safeguarding Team in Lancashire. This role focuses on enhancing parenting skills, strengthening family relationships, and promoting children's well-being, particularly for those experiencing harm outside the home. Responsibilities include developing support plans, offering parental education, building parenting skills, facilitating programmes, providing emotional support, and advocating for referrals.
