Description
The Parks Assistant Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations and maintenance of Guilford County Parks facilities, including outdoor park areas, aquatic centers, campgrounds, and passive parks. The role supervises seasonal, year-round, and part-time grounds and facilities staff, may supervise volunteers, conducts safety inspections, supports budgeting and grant research, provides customer service, and coordinates maintenance and facility operations. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Leisure Studies and Recreation, Horticulture, or a related area, or an associate's degree with two years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma or GED with four years of relevant experience; a valid driver's license and the ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work are also required.
