Description
The Park Grounds and Recreation Facilities Maintenance Worker performs manual labor maintaining parks and recreation facilities, including operating tractors, mowers, dump trucks, and other light- to medium-size construction equipment; inspecting and repairing playgrounds; performing carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general maintenance; landscaping; cleaning facilities; setting up sports fields and event equipment; and assisting with construction and facility development. The role requires two years of related experience, a valid Class I driver's license, a satisfactory motor vehicle record, and the ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor and potentially hazardous conditions.
