Description
The Parks Maintenance Worker performs manual labor and operates hand and power tools to maintain parks, city facilities, rights-of-way, medians, cemeteries, ball fields, playgrounds, and other municipal grounds. Duties include mowing, edging, pruning, sod and mulch installation, irrigation, fertilization, pesticide application under direction, trash and sidewalk cleaning, fence and equipment repair, and vehicle operation. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Florida driver's license, physical ability to perform heavy and outdoor work, and may require weekend, holiday, and emergency work.
