Description
The Whitfield County 4-H Club Agent plans, organizes, conducts, and evaluates the county 4-H educational program for youth ages nine to nineteen. The role includes processing documents, answering customer inquiries, maintaining records and databases, preparing educational materials, teaching the state 4-H curriculum, supporting project competitions, transporting and supervising 4-H participants, helping with judging teams, awards, fundraisers, fair entries, and summer camps and classes. A high school diploma or GED, three years of progressively knowledgeable and skilled public education and outreach experience, an active Georgia driver's license, reliable transportation, and flexibility for weekend and night work are required; an associate degree and schedule flexibility are desirable.
