Description
The Before and After School Care Aide is a part-time, nonexempt campus position reporting to the Dean of Academics. The role supports teachers with small-group and individual academic instruction, classroom management, differentiated instruction, special-education paperwork, and student supervision during meals, recess, dismissal, and special events. It also assists with test administration and may provide specialized assistance to students with special needs. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, prefers college hours and experience working with children, and may require Texas Educational Aide Certification or the ability to obtain it. The work is classroom-based, may involve occasional night and weekend activities, and requires moderate travel.
