Description
The Programming/Activity Assistant organizes and implements resident-centered programs for elders and disabled individuals, leading one-on-one, small-group, and large-group activities while supporting independent pursuits, monitoring resident needs, communicating changes to the Harbor Care Director, and accompanying residents on excursions. The role requires a high school diploma, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience and knowledge of aging and disability issues, along with training in recreational activities and Alzheimer’s-related dementias. The schedule is Friday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the position offers medical, vision, dental, retirement, paid training, and other benefits.
