CTA is hiring a part-time Bus Operator to drive a bus along an established route, announce stops, collect fares and transfer cards, assist passengers, inspect the vehicle, and complete trip documentation. The role pays $28.85 and requires applicants to be at least 21, have an acceptable driving record, and hold a valid Illinois Class B CDL or a CDL permit with Knowledge, Passenger, and Air Brakes endorsements; a high school diploma or GED is preferred. Applicants must also pass drug and alcohol testing and meet the listed physical and customer-service requirements.
