Description
Worcester Polytechnic Institute is hiring a part-time Custodian in Worcester to perform cleaning and custodial work in campus academic and non-academic buildings. The role includes maintaining floors, walls, bathrooms, showers, locker rooms, and other facilities; removing trash; operating powered custodial equipment; moving furniture and small equipment; locking and unlocking doors; clearing snow and debris; and assisting with campus event setup and cleanup. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to use powered and non-powered cleaning equipment, and the ability to occasionally lift up to 60 pounds. It pays $22.53 per hour for 20 hours per week and is a union position.
