Description
The PACE Driver transports physically limited passengers door to door in a van, assists with caregivers and community agencies, maintains vehicle and day-center safety, follows and adjusts routes, and participates in participant care planning and interdisciplinary care. The role requires a high school diploma, a valid Florida driver's license, current auto insurance, reliable transportation, First Aid/CPR/AED certification, and Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias training, plus at least one year of experience transporting handicapped individuals and working with the frail elderly. The schedule is two days per week for 16 hours, with compensation of $16.48 to $23.69.
