Description
The role operates, maintains, and repairs a broad range of building systems, including boilers, refrigeration, pumps, compressors, gas and water distribution, electrical motors, fuel oil, sanitary sewer, trash compactors, kitchen equipment, power distribution, and life-safety systems. It also maintains preventive maintenance programs, seasonal controls, and building automation systems, while responding to emergencies and performing on-call duties. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of building engineering or commercial facilities maintenance experience, EPA 608 refrigerant handling certification, and the ability to work independently, climb, and work in confined spaces.
